Case Study: Haiti
In Haiti, given that the nation’s electric grid was all but obliterated in the 2010 earthquake, electricity in schools must be self-sufficient. For stable electricity, there are two options: generators or solar power. However, both of the aforementioned solutions are prohibitively expensive for most schools.
